Shawna Ellis
Executive Administrative Assistant

Shawna J. Ellis joined the Schott Foundation for Public Education in March 2009.  Ms. Ellis currently serves as the Executive Administrative Assistant and is responsible for providing general office support to the Executive Operations team.  Ms. Ellis previously served as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO of a real estate firm based in Miami, FL.  As a former pre-school teacher and summer camp counselor, Shawna brings to the team a diverse knowledge in education.  Ms. Ellis holds an A.S. degree from Miami Dade College and a B.S. from Delaware State University.  Shawna is an active general member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a community service based organization and has devoted countless hours as a volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club of America.
