Yesenia Rosado joined the Pennsylvania team as the Education Voters Programs and Policy Coordinator in March, 2011. In this position, Yesenia will be coordinating civic engagement, outreach and education and policy work as well as grassroots organizing and coalition work in Central PA, opening Education Voters’ new office there. ??Yesenia comes with a decade of experience in state government, non-profit advocacy and political campaigns. Most recently, she worked at the Department of Community and Economic Development’s Technology Investment Office where she assisted in the management of the Keystone Innovation Zone program, the Keystone Innovation Grant program and the KIZ Tax Credits.  Prior to working at DCED, Yesenia was part of the Governor’s Office and worked closely with the Secretary of Policy and Planning.

Prior to serving in the Rendell Administration, Yesenia worked on political campaigns on the federal, state and local levels. Yesenia also has served as a Housing Program Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Montgomery County, PA serving youth in the foster care system.  She is a Political Science graduate of Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Administration at Shippensburg University.  Yesenia currently resides in Harrisburg.
